Microvac Safety Switch 1501-L The 1501-L Microvac Safety Switch is a vacuum operated switch connected to your 12 volt solenoid. In the event of an engine shut down or loss of vacuum, the safety switch closes the 12 volt signal to the 12 volt solenoid. This triggers a safety shut off of the fuel system even when the ignition switch is left on.
